This is a foundational class for students to learn about various careers related to the health services field, foundational health care skills, and basic healthcare terminology. Upon completion of this class, the student will have basic knowledge of health service careers, foundational healthcare skills, traditional healthcare philosophies, and ethics.

He papa kēia no ka hoʻomaopopo ʻana i ka hana o nā mahele like ʻole o ke kino. Ke hoʻopau pono ka haumāna i ka papa, hiki iā ia ke wehewehe i ka hana/kuleana o nā mahele a me nā ʻonaehana o ke kino.

This second-year course is to develop an understanding of the different parts of the body and how they work. Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to identify the function of organs and systems of the body.
